Recently, the fourth edition of the promotional new technology and product directory was issued in Jiangsu, and the PCG-01 metro gearbox, produced by Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd, made the list. Products in the directory are widely used and represent the highest level of  achievement in the related industries of Jiangsu province.

The metro gearbox is a key piece of metro bogie traction systems. It works under the complex conditions of variable load and high vibration and as such requires a high level of accuracy, a light weight and a high degree of reliability. The PCG-01 metro gearbox can meet such requirements. Under the conditions of frequent run-stop and excessive vibration, the maintenance-free life stretches for over 1.2 million kilometers. The gearbox can also meet low noise and high power density requirements, bearing a torque of 10000N.m under weights of up to 370KG.

The PCG-01 metro gearbox has been put into batch production and use with successful applications in the Shanghai Metro Line 2 East Extension, the Shenzhen Metro Line 4 and will be applied in the Nanjing Metro Lines 3 and 10.
