Continuous communication, attentive transmission

The NGC 2026 Xinjiang Technical Service Day took place in Urumqi on the afternoon of September 10. The theme of this year's event, which gathered clients and experts from the wind power industry in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region for an in-depth discussion of the technologies powering large-megawatt wind energy gearboxes, the challenges surrounding operation and maintenance (O&M), and how best to work together to promote the high-quality development of Xinjiang's wind power industry, was "Face to Face with Technology · In Service of Xinjiang."

Xinjiang is an important region for the development of wind power in China, and the gearboxes – the heart of the transmission system – that power the megawatt era place high demands on technical reliability and O&M service. By meeting face-to-face with clients in Xinjiang, NGC sought to bring the underlying technology closer and improve access to service in the region. Indeed, NGC harnesses technical innovation and localization to satisfy the needs of its clients and ensure the safe operation of wind power equipment throughout its lifecycle.

During the thematic presentations, technical experts from NGC delivered reports on four topics: "Key Technologies and Onshore Selection for Large-Megawatt Main Wind Energy Gearboxes," "CMS Monitoring Technology and Intelligent O&M for Main Wind Energy Gearboxes," "Innovations in Maintenance and Localized Service Support for Large-Megawatt Gearboxes," and "O&M Training Services for Main Wind Energy Gearboxes." During the roundtable session, clients engaged the expert team in an in-depth discussion of practical O&M pain points, such as gearbox design, crane-free maintenance, and access to spare parts, with the experts fielding questions of a technical nature in what proved to be a highly productive session.

The event, a key NGC initiative in the northwest, shored up the brand's position and injected new technological momentum into the sustainable development of the wind power industry in Xinjiang.
