Our products have passed both their ISO/TS22163:2017 (International Railway Industry Standard) certification and railway product CRCC certification.

The record for reliable operation time of NGC gearboxes on a city rail vehicle is more than 15 years. NGC has developed more than 50 city rail vehicle gearboxes of different speed ratios, different speed levels, and different operational environments, with speeds ranging between 80 km/h and 160 km/h. Over 60,000 total cumulative orders have been placed on our rail vehicle products to date, and our current advanced models can basically match most main engine plants produced both at home and abroad, and can also be custom-designed according to customer needs.

High-Speed Rail

NGC’s high-speed train gearboxes (including the ones for inter-city rail vehicles) range between 160 km/h and 400 km/h in speed, and our developed products include those used in the Wenzhou Line S1 metro vehicles, 360 km/h AGV high-speed train gearboxes, CRH380B high-speed train gearboxes, CR300 high-speed train gearboxes, and rail transferable high-speed train gearboxes.

Tramcar

NGC has developed many kinds of tram gearboxes and high-grade straddle-type monorail gearboxes, covering 60 km/h to 80 km/h. Projects of this type currently under operation include the light rail in Hong Kong and the Yunnan Red River Valley trams.

Locomotives

NGC has adopted high-quality equipment and advanced manufacturing technology to provide our clients with high-power locomotive traction gears, allowing these products to be used under high-stress working conditions including changing loads and high vibrations. Since 2004, NGC has provided clients with 30,000 traction gears, with typical models including the HXN5-type CRH diesel locomotive, and have been used in the Qinghai-Tibet Railway under the intense environmental conditions it faces.
